Frequently Asked Questions

Registering Online for NTS Camp

How do I register?

Go to ntscamp.com.  Click on Register for Camp.  Find your camp’s location, click on Register Your Student, then click on your church name and enter the information asked for on the registration page.

Registration is started with paying the $150 non-refundable/non-transferable deposit or made complete with a full payment.  If you pay the deposit, you will have one more chance to pay the balance.  Payment in full is due 2 weeks before camp or there will be a $20 late fee added.

Once you have registered, you will receive a confirmation email from NTS Camp.  According to the camp you will be attending, there could be a medical form or college waiver that you will need to print off, fill out and turn in to your church.  Your student cannot attend camp without these important papers.  If we find at camp that they are not filled out completely and signed, your student may not be able to stay at camp.

Is online registration my only option?

Yes.  NTS Camp registration is only offered online.

Do I have to use a credit card?

Online registration accepts credit cards or debit cards.

Is the online payment process secure?

Absolutely.  NTS Camp uses a secure online credit card processor called Stripe which makes use of industry-standard security practices. NTS Camp does not store or transmit any of your secure information. All transactions are handled directly with the payment processing vendor.

How do I know how much I owe?

Your confirmation email will have a link that will show you how much you still owe.  Otherwise, you can go to ntscamp.com and click on Pay.  Make sure you enter the same parent/guardian email that you registered your child with on the NTS Camp registration page.

What if I did not receive a confirmation email?

If you have looked in your junk mail and do not find a confirmation email, please contact your local church for confirmation of registration or contact info@ntscamp.com.

How do full scholarships work?

NTS Camp does not offer scholarships at this time. Please check with your church.
If your student is receiving a full scholarship, which means the church is paying completely for your student, only the church can make payments on the account. The system will not accept payment from anyone but the church.
When your church creates a full scholarship for you, you will receive a code to enter in the payment section of the registration process. You will still need to register your student but will enter the code instead of a payment method.

How can I pay on my child's account if it is created as a full scholarship?

If your child’s account is created as a full scholarship, the system will not accept outside payment.  The church that created the full scholarship is the only one who can make a payment on your child’s account.

How can money be applied to my student's account?

If your student is receiving funding, either from your church or fundraising efforts, the church can only apply this to your account once you register your student and pay the deposit.  Your church has been given instructions for applying money to a student account.

**Please note that if the funding applied to your account following your deposit does not equal the final amount due, you will be responsible for any remaining balance.

My child is doing fundraisers at church, how is that money applied?

Your church has been given instructions on how to apply fundraising money to a student’s account.  They will be able to make sure the money earned through church fundraisers is applied to your student’s account.

**Please note that if the funding applied to your account following your deposit does not equal the final amount due, you will be responsible for any remaining balance.

How long can I register before camp?
As long as there is room, registration is open until 6pm the night before camp.
There are financial benefits to paying earlier as you will see as you register.
If my child changes their mind about camp, can we get a refund?

The deposit is non-refundable and non-transferable.  This is stated before you are asked to make your payment.  Anything paid above that is refundable up until 24 hours before camp begins. (Camp begins at 8pm.)

Can I call NTS Camp?

The fastest and most accurate form of communication is through email; that way both NTS Camp and the parent/guardian have everything needed for reference in email.

Coming to NTS Camp

Does my child have to be part of a church to attend NTS Camp?

Yes.  NTS Camp is structured for church youth groups, not individual students; so your student would need to come to camp with a church that is attending NTS Camp.

Can my child come to camp for part of the week?

NTS Camp believes your student will benefit best from experiencing camp in its entirety so no, we do not accept part-time campers and do not offer part-time prices.

What should my child pack for camp?

After your registration is complete, you will be sent a confirmation email.  This email will contain a packing list and a college waiver, if the site you are attending requires one.  At the bottom of the packing list is the list of rules and consequences for camp that we ask you to read over with your child.  You can also find this document online under your week of camp.

What if I have a specific question about the college venue NTS Camp is held at?

If your church does not know the answer, please contact NTS Camp at info@ntscamp.com. Please do not contact the college with questions as we have been given the answers to things pertaining to our time there.

How do I know what Team Comps team my child is on?

Your church will receive the team your church is on in an email April 1.

What time do I drop off or pick up?

Please contact your church for transportation details as those details are up to them.

Being at NTS Camp

What if my child has food allergies?

Our college venue cafeterias are set up to accommodate allergies.  Please have your child go to the cafeteria staff with their adult leader at the first meal to get instructions for safe options.  Make sure your small group leader knows of your child’s allergies.

Who will be my child's small group leader?

Please contact your church as each church brings their small group leaders and places students in small groups before camp.

Can my child leave camp for a few hours for an appointment?

Please do not schedule any appointments during the week of camp for your student.  If it is necessary that they leave for an appointment, your pastor, church, and NTS Camp must be notified but your student will not be able to come back to camp that week.  So please plan on your student being at camp for the entire week.  We don’t want them to miss one moment of what God wants to do at NTS Camp.

What if my child gets hurt or sick at camp?

Your church is responsible for the medical care of your student at NTS Camp.

What if I have more questions?

If you have more questions about online registration or NTS Camp, please email info@ntscamp.com.  If you have questions about details specific to your church such as transportation, small group leaders, phone policies, etc. please contact your church for those answers.

Where will my child stay?

Your child will be staying in a college dorm.  Dorm assignments will be given to your church 1-2 weeks before camp, and they will assign rooms for their students.
