Parent FAQ »

1. How do I register?
Sroll down and click on your camp’s location. Click on your
church name and enter the information asked for on the registration page.
Registration is started with paying the $150 non-refundable/non-transferable
deposit or made complete with a full payment. If you pay the deposit, you will have
one more chance to pay the balance. Payment in full is due 2 weeks before camp or
there will be a $20 late fee added.

Once you have registered, you will receive a confirmation email from NTS Camp.
According to the camp you will be attending, there could be a medical form that you
will need to print off, fill out, and turn into your church or a college waiver. Your
student cannot attend camp without these important papers. If we find at camp that
they are not filled out completely and signed, your student may not be able to stay at
camp.

2. Does my child have to be part of a church to attend NTS Camp?
Yes. NTS Camp is structured for church youth groups, not individual students; so
your student would need to come to camp with a church that is attending NTS Camp.

3. Is online registration my only option?
Yes. NTS Camp registration is only offered online through this web page.

4. Do I have to use a credit card?
Online registration accepts credit cards or debit cards.

5. Is the online payment process secure?
Absolutely. NTS Camp uses a secure online credit card processor called Stripe which
makes use of industry-standard security practices. NTS Camp does not store or
transmit any of your secure information. All transactions are handled directly by
the payment processing vendor.

6. What is the processing fee?
The processing fee is what it costs for Stripe to take your payment. This cost strictly
goes to Stripe and not to NTS Camp.

7. How do I know how much I owe?
Your confirmation email will have a link that will show you how much you still owe.
Otherwise, on the top of the Events page click on PAY REMAINING BALANCE.
Make sure you enter the email that you registered your child with on the NTS
Camp registration page.

8. What if I did not receive a confirmation email?
If you have looked in your junk mail and do not find a confirmation email, please
contact your local church for confirmation of registration and forms you will need to
fill out or contact [email protected]

9. My child is doing fundraisers at church, how is that money applied?
Your church has been given instructions on how to apply fundraising money to a
student’s account. They will be able to make sure the money earned through church
fundraisers is applied to your student’s account.

10. If my child changes their mind about camp, can we get a refund?
The deposit is non-refundable and non-transferable. This is stated before you are
asked to make your payment. Anything paid above that is refundable.

11. How long can I register before camp?
As long as there is room, registration is open until the day before camp, however, we
ask that you check with your church to assure there is transportation for your child
to get to camp. There are financial benefits to paying earlier as you will see as you register.

12. Can my child come to camp for part of the week?
No. NTS Camp believes your student will benefit best from experiencing camp in its
entirety. We do not accept part-time campers and do not offer part-time prices.

13. Can my child leave camp for a few hours for an appointment?
Please do not schedule any appointments during the week of camp for your student.
If it is necessary that they leave for an appointment, your pastor, church, and NTS
Camp must be notified but your student will not be able to come back to camp that
week. So please plan on your student(s) being at camp for the entire week.

14. What should my child pack for camp?
After your registration is complete, you will be sent a confirmation email. Included in
that email are any waivers you may be required to have according to your site and a
packing list. At the bottom of the packing list is the list of rules and consequences
for camp that we ask you to read over with your child.

15. What if I have questions?
If you have questions about online registration, please email [email protected] If
you have general questions about camp and transportation, please contact your
church.
